There is Power, Power....... in the BLOOD!

As Little Man and I sit here having breakfast this morning, well as he has his breakfast we are listening to the Alexandria church choir singing about the blood-compliments of my friend ajourneytowards.blogspot.com. My baby is "blowing" his eggs, he just saw me do it to cool them off, soooooooo cute. And of course he doesn't forget to raise his little hand to worship as he eats. Thank-you Jesus!! It doesn't get any better than this!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As I was giving him his egg this morning I looked down and saw the most trusting, unconditional loving eyes staring back at me.....it brings tears. I realize even more the tremendous responsibility I have here. Not only to "train" my children up but to show them the way, be their examples. To be an adequate example I must be like Christ. I am not even close. So what do I do?
I pray. I fast. I stay in God's word. I expose my children to positive influences; church, people, media. Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

This year for Thanksgiving we get a special treat. Our friends Janet and her daughter Myla will be having dinner with us. YEAH!!!!!!!!!! We are all so excited, especially Big Sister. You see Janet is VERY ticklish and Big Sister LOVES to tickle her. It will be a special day. So for now I am off to navigate the rain and pick-up a few additional things. Big Daddy has a work get together and I am going to send a maple frosted pumpkin cake (recipe compliments of www.ajourneytowards.blogspot.com) with him.
Lord Bless you all and have a great day! I Love You!!!!!!!!
